Hi:
Newbie question - can you run the BOINC 5.2.13 Manager on the Mac to work on the projects? I installed this fine but I'm getting the following messages: "Requesting 17280 seconds of new work Scheduler request to https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/boinc/wcg_cgi/fcgi suceeded Message from Server: platform 'powerpc-apple-darwin' not found" Not sure what is wrong or what I have missed. Unfortunately WCG does not support Macs at the moment.
I understand that that may come in time - maybe one of the Techs or Admins can confirm this. Ady  |

Sigh.... that's a shame - the fastest machine I have (Mac G5 Dual 2.5) cannot be brought to bear and contribute to this effort. Maybe soon I hope. Best & Thanks! Al |

We are currently testing on the Mac Platform, but still need some more time to make sure everything is working correctly. We will have the Mac client available soon. Not, soon soon... but soon.

Now that is good news. As I've said, I have more than a few existing and potential teammates with spare Macs lying around. It's not like they have any other use ;-)
