Project auto-change?

I have been running the Human Proteome Folding project for many months now. For some reason, it changed (apparantly on it's own) to Fight AIDS @ Home. I really don't mind, as they are both worthy causes, I'm just wondering WHY...any takers?

Re: Project auto-change?

At a guess, you are using BOINC, and FAAH was only added for BOINC very recently. You can set which projects to contribute to in your preferences. The default is to contribute to all WCG projects, but the scheduler may send you more of one project than another, to maintain the averages.

Re: Project auto-change?

Preferences got reset on the server when the single-project code was replaced with multiple-project code. You can always set your preferences manually if this happens. I don't know, but right now I am expecting this to happen whenenver the project list changes. We'll see soon if my guess is correct or not.
