1) How to force program to use 100% of processor power? Even if I don't doing nothing the CPU monitor shows me that processor is used only in 50 %.
2) How to force dual processor computer to use both processors or maybe make on the same machine a small team running in the same time two threads with fightaids. Thanks |

I dont know about the UD Agents, but under BOINC, you set your set up your Device Profile
Under Processor Usage --> Weight = 100 --> Do work while computer is in use = Yes --> On multiprocessors, at most use: = 4 or whater the numebr you have or want. Thats how my dual xeons are set up and all works well. I would like to be able to cache WU's but havent figured that one out yet. . |

1) How to force program to use 100% of processor power? Even if I don't doing nothing the CPU monitor shows me that processor is used only in 50 %. Sounds like you are on an Intel HyperThreaded CPU. This has been discussed many times in these forums. Seeing 50% on an HT CPU is normal, it's just that Windows does not know how to properly display the actual CPU usages because it is tricked into seeing 2 processors when there is only 1. Rest assured you are using your full CPU. 2) How to force dual processor computer to use both processors or maybe make on the same machine a small team running in the same time two threads with fightaids. Thanks In order to use multiple processors, you must use the BOINC client. The UD agent, unfortunately, will only utilize one CPU.

I would like to be able to cache WU's but havent figured that one out yet. If you set the communication delay for more than 0.1 day, you will draw enough work units to fill the delay. Try not to hog a lot of work units. Start off with enough for 0.5 days and work up. Be cautious about drawing more than 2 days. |
