----------------------------------------It is possible to always have the icon hidden (at least in XP Pro, not sure if it works with Home). Here's how: - right click on your clock - choose "Customize Notifications..." - Find the Grid Agent in the list of items - Switch the drop down box to "Always Hidden" The icon will still be visible if the user clicks the (<) button next to the clock, but at least it won't be visible at all times. Hope this helps, |

Thanks for this response.
In this LAN, i use Windows NT 4.0 server and workstation, and Windows 2000. I have a solution for Windows 2000 by sheduled task, but for windows nt and at command, it's more difficult ! NT 4 Workstation : 90% of my configurations... If i find solution, i share it ;) |

Hmm - can't help you out with Windows NT. Did a quick Google search and did find lots of Shareware/Freeware links, but no registry hacks or anything.
----------------------------------------Sorry, but good luck! |

Hello EnZ0
Hmmmm Pardon my English I am American. Try Starting the Device as a "system resource" instead of the Default "startup" folder in "start/programs/*" (Use Task MGR?) If it works the three parts will show in "Taskmgr" and no icon. (Warning it will try to start to Device twice if the Icon is not removed from the start/programs/startup folder.) I'm a little rusty, Hope it helps. SmileRobert |
