Thank you Gridboy1 ... you may have helped stop the hemorage of members. When, I too, see this in one of the read-only portions of this forum I will start up the agents again. <dataman>

Thank you gridboy1,

please have the courtesy to introduce yourself by showing a user rank like Moderator or posting in the read-only part of the forums. I will start the client again when I see that the problem has been solved.

Regards,

Steve

I coulnd't agree more, hmmm, you have four posts and you say, "we hear you..." Hell I have 21 posts, maybe I should call myself a moderator too right? No title, no introduction, and hey guess what, NOTHING has been updated yet! Amazing isn't it. Get off the boards!

Re: Aborted Work Units - We hear you!!

It was updated in the read-only "Known Problems" section of the forum Jeffwy. All my machine have run past 30% or better. I shared your concern when this post came out. I think they have a temp fix and are trying to make it permament. Thanks for contributing. <dataman>

Jeff

I am just a retired old man that spent 35+ plus years in IT. I have no connection with anyone in this project. I just believe in the boost to technology that this code may have and I beleive in the core values of the Biology project.

Thanks! and U B Well. <dataman>

Re: Aborted Work Units - We hear you!!

dataman,

I agree with you, and glad to see that you are more positive about things as well as I know you were ready to drop the project as well. There are several other issues we need answers to though, including the ethics of it all as addressed in my comments in the suggestions and comments forum.

gridboy1, if you are indeed part of the staff, please introduce yourself and ask the IT people to put you in a different color so we know you are an admin.

Yes, Jeff thanks ... as the old saying goes, "Agitate, Agitate". It was a cheap shot with my "NASA" post this morning ... but was just trying to get their attention. With the help of many others ... it seemed to have worked. Keeping in constant communication with your user base is a critical part of any project.

All my machines are now running like <explitive deleted>

<G> Hang in there ... the world was not build in a day. <dataman>
