Re: Monster Work Unit

I have a Human Proteome Folding work unit running on my old P3 that is now at almost 56 hours and is only 40% done! It may set a new record for that system for points for a single work unit. I would guess it will generate around 1750 points which is about 300 more than I have seen on that system ever! Anybody else seeing any of these monsters?

Well, my longest HPF was:

01/22/2005 0:004:19:04:56 2,801 1

Just shy of 5 days for a single WU and on a "GenuineIntel Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1500MHz". That was back in my UD days. I've switched to BOINC and just had this kind of day:

02/01/2006 0:002:00:06:19 2,768 5

and no, that wasn't 2 days of crunching. That's the FAAH validation for you.

Nice! By the way -- love your website. Another Southern kind of thing that I love is when women talk catty about another it always ends with "God bless her little heart" LOL.
