What's with all the lame 'team' posts by other teams which don't do much more than pat other members on the back, try to recruit other crunchers, or cry over resignations. <Yawn> You won't find that constant drivel on the HomeBrewer's team thread; instead, we're challenging ourselves to kick some ... some ... (is 'hiney' okay?).

IN YOUR FACE! Let's talk some smack and get some real COMPETITION going. How's this for some impressive stats; as of last night (January 31st) we were only 71 days old, but ranked as follows:
~ Team Size: #253 (with 33 active members, and 1 retired)
~ Total Run Time: #977
~ Points Generated: #1,024
~ Results Returned: #922
That puts us in the top 11% of teams, and we're growing fast. Hey, we didn't join as a group, either, and we don't try to recruit other WCG members unless they brew their own beer or intend to try it someday.

Now, I'm looking for some challenges from other teams ... if they've got the guts. I've already told the 'US Navy' and 'USMC' (Marine Corp) that we're coming after them. That's right ... we're on the prowl.

As for all the gnashing of teeth right now in a certain big group -- get a life; no one is irreplaceable and everyone makes their own choices. Heck, I could drop dead tomorrow and I'd expect our team to continue forever with my ghost still at the helm. Who would remove me?
