West coast, 20 miles outside Glasgow biggrin

It's late night (23:45) for me - presumably Saturday morning for you . . . .

Re: Im still fairly new at this, but love it!

Nice to see you again. Im in Adelaide and its summer so its getting hot. Crunching makes the world a smaller place in so many ways!
I have always thought Scotland is one of the most romantic places in the world. I guess its niave but the people strike me as strong and "straight-up" so to speak. Here we have a culture of hiding how we really feel. If I hear one more person preface a racist statement with "I'm not racist BUT..." I will scream! Country Scotland seems untamed and wild, even the weather lets you know it will do as it pleases and tell it like it is, and the cities, (especially Glasgow) seem intense and exciting. I will get the chance to travel one day and Scotland is top of my list. I have heard that alcohol is very expensive but that the nightlife in Glasgow goes off!
Thanks for your help friend, biggrin

Hi Katie

Yes, you are being naive, but that's not necessarily a bad thing biggrin

Scotland is much like other places in the world. We don't have a particular problem with racism (unless you count the anti-English sentiments wink ) but we have other 'issues' sad

Not sure if alcohol is particularly expensive here as I don't have much to compare it with. You are right about the Glaswegian nightlife - you can guarantee a good night! biggrin
