Nice to see some of the new members scoring their first team points today. Looks like shinob925 missed it by minutes! He is a member as of 28th January, so his points from the 27th didn't make it -- oh well, there are lots of days ahead. I am sure he will be up there with the rest of us soon!

Guys.
If you haven't seen it yet, I draw your attention to the following post by Viktors. Starting approximately Jan 29, 2006 04:00 UTC our web site and the grid servers may not be accessible for up to 8 hours (until 12:00 UTC). Your grid agents may show the "Agent paused" message during this period. Some major network components are being upgraded and thus connectivity to our servers will be unavailable. We hope the upgrades will take much less than the full 8 hours. Sorry for any convenience and the short notice. |

Mac586 is a cruncher on a mission. The highest climber of the day up 4 places overnight
---------------------------------------- Thanks for the tip off Gremlin2 The weather on the south coast today.... Let's put it this way I've just peered out of the window and my car is covered in ice. I would have to scrape the windscreen before I could drive it and that's at 8:30am with the sun up. Up't North they would say that "It's a bit parky". On cartoons it would be described as Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's going to be a chilly one tonight WARDSTAR Dave ![]() |

When is your sleep-out Matt? Spikey_Richie -- Matt's probably happy that he's not the one sleeping out . WARDSTAR is the one doing it tomorrow night. He's getting close to his goal on sponsorships, but there is still room for those wishing to contribute here on his fundraising page. oops, my bad... you wouldn't think I was sponsoring the event would you sorry WARDSTARNo problems Spikey - Wardstar needs a pat on the back for going out tonight - 1 C is the forecast. The boss needs his bumps read - did I see that he is dropping by for a visit!? I know we are the best supported team on the WCG, but... Joking aside - well done to both of you! ![]() |

Good Morning Team (© Graham -- LOL)
Well, it is just slightly below 0 C here this morning and, like Graham, I ain't goin' out in it -- too cold for my blood. This will be a tough one for WARDSTAR and the other 55 folks who are going to be out in it tonight. If you get in here to the forum today, WARDSTAR, what time do you head out for it? I am also looking for the post you made a while back that listed the radio station that will be covering the event. Do you know when we should be listening in for the coverage? Gremlin2 -- thanks for spotting the news about the maintenance outage scheduled for tonight. I am sure there will be a lot of people caught off guard by it. At least our team mates will not be among them. Well, off to get another before I ![]() |

I found the post in which WARDSTAR mentioned the radio coverage. He will be interviewed at 7:30 AM on Sunday on Splash FM, which is a local FM station in Worthing. They have an internet feed, so anyone who wants to can listen to our team mate tomorrow morning after his night out. The following is cut/pasted from the Splash FM News:
NO HOME COMFORTS FOR SLEEP OUT PROJECT A group of people are braving the cold tonight to highlight the plight of Worthing's homeless. People are bedding down for the night in cardboard boxes at a school playground. Worthing Churches Homeless Project have organised it. The local weather for Worthing Tonight: Considerable clouds this evening. Some decrease in clouds late. Low near 35F. Winds NNE at 15 to 25 mph. |
