Good morning Graham (at least it is still that here). I didn't have much of a late start this morning, but response through my ISP has been really bad. I think they must have some links and/or routers to the outside world down at the moment.
The morning started out pretty frigid here today (at least for us). The temperature started out at 23 F (-5 C). It is quite sunny, however, and it is expected to climb up to around 50 F by this afternoon. I'm happy to hear that because I have been putting off going to the grocery too long and absolutely have to go today! I was surprised to read from our team captain, Dave Autumns, that my post count had reached 2000. Dave isn't that far behind me and was just a bit ahead of me at one point recently. Sounds like our new member Kurrika has already become a crunching addict as he adds more systems to the WCG. He is on the right team for addictive crunching -- LOL. I hope everyone is having a great day |

You are providing the bandwidth if you upload the graphic to a server provided for you. In this case you are not relying on someone elses bandwidth bill. Athough ADSL links are always on sometimes the registration server gets rebooted at the other end of your link and it forgets who you are. This may have been the issue. Your ISP will tell you to reboot the modem/router because this is the easiest way that they would know how to definitely re-establish your link. A month is a pretty long time in ADSL Land Cheers Dave - thanks for the bit about our results and also for clearing up my Q about the ISP. Not often I get to understand an IT guy!  |
