You should add the feature to UD client which can aquire new work, and prepare data for sending, while working on a present work unit.

I doubt that you will see a change such as this made. First, the UD agent is not written by the World Community Grid developers -- it is leased from United Devices. Some modifications have been made, but these are primarily to accomodate the multiple server environment and to provide more robust security. I think the developers plate is quite full with the addition of new projects, porting code to other platforms, and providing for national language support among other tasks. If you wish to queue up work, two avenues are already available to you. Search the forums on UD Monitor for a solution that will work with your system using the UD agent. The other would be to switch to the BOINC environment which also provides queueing. Best regards, |
