congratulations to esteban69 for joining several of our team mates in the top 50 of the entire wcg. this gives us 12 of the top 50 (i think). not bad for a "little" team.
----------------------------------------i am sad that he will pass me by the end of the day, but as long as its for the good of the team and the wcg i'll be happy in the end. ![]() In Memory of Dave Bell |

I looked at the WGC home page the other day when David mentioned we were on it (in the top five). We do seem to be holding our own with just a few members, compared to the other teams listed above us - thanks to you millionaires, I think!
Can I ask about this thread - every time I visit I get sent to the last message. Thats fine. Yet, if I want to go back a page to see the last few posts, I have to page forward 40 odd pages. Its a bit annoying. Is there an easy way to review the last few messages (the previous page) when you log on? Am I doing something wrong? Cheers guys, |

Matt -- Yep -- their points do help, but we wouldn't be in the top five teams overall without us little guys crunching 24/7 with our one or two systems either. Every last one of us has put us there! |

Indeed Dave
----------------------------------------That's why I like to call us the BIG little team everyone crunches what they can and we end up making a BIG difference. There are 237 of us on MOT (140 or thereabouts still active) and yet we are sandwiched either side of our 4th place on the WCG by IBM and IBM Corporation. Contrary to what might be said about us no one is just a statistic on MyOnline I have made a good many friends here and long may it last. Some are more vocal than others, some of our team mates I have never heard from, but that doesn't stop them for making a quiet contribution to the very consistent progress of our little BIG team. To be honest I just remain constantly amazed (and amused) by something that has taken on a life of it's own. The "best supported" tag (when we were just 7 in number) has become a self fulfilling prophecy and continues each day. It's a real pleasure being part of this team much less its "captain" ![]() Night all Dave ![]() |

Dave -- That may be in points, but with nearly 25 million results returned to the WCG, our little team is solidly in third place with our 372,669 results only exceeded by Slashdot and Easynews! IBM Corp, Kentucky Wildcats and IBM are following our lead for now. |

got another stat working
----------------------------------------http://82.163.156.92/myonlineteam/pointsyesterday.cfm the answers in the title ![]() I'd like to sort it by points generated but I think that is going to involve an array (I hate arrays - never liked them even way back on the ZX81's Basic) I'll face it down another day when I have the time and the manual to hand. The possibilities of this technology just makes my head hurt ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Jan 8, 2006 1:40:03 AM] |
