How do I change the "Resource share" number in BOINC?
I figured it out for my other projects, but can't seem to for this one (and don't want to have to keep WCG at "100" and alter the others to get the desired percentage). - Greg |

Added: skip this and read the next post.
----------------------------------------Hello Greg Cameron, I have never done this. Starting at BOINC Application Owner's Manual: http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?tit...lication_Owner%27s_Manual Then going to Projects Tab: http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Projects_Tab Resource Share This is the Resource Share assigned to the BOINC Powered Project on this computer. The Resource Share is set in the "Project Preferences" Page and is set as a number. My recommendation is to use a set of numbers that add up to 100 or 1,000 so that it reflects the percentages you want to use. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Dec 15, 2005 2:48:40 PM] |

Next, enter your share value in the Project Weight field under the Processor Usage section. Save and you should be good to go, after you update the project in Boinc manager.
