All day I've been getting: World Community Grid|Started upload of eb198_20_1_0 World Community Grid|Started upload of eb054_15_6_0 World Community Grid|Error on file upload: [eb198_20_1_0] locked by file_upload_handler PID=2326 World Community Grid|Error on file upload: [eb054_15_6_0] locked by file_upload_handler PID=2545 World Community Grid|Temporarily failed upload of eb054_15_6_0: transient upload error World Community Grid|Backing off 25 minutes and 34 seconds on upload of file eb054_15_6_0 World Community Grid|Temporarily failed upload of eb198_20_1_0: transient upload error World Community Grid|Backing off 1 hours, 19 minutes, and 35 seconds on upload of file eb198_20_1_0 This just started today... It usually fixes its self after a long time and sends the results, but it sure slows the process of uploading my results, it's using Rosetta 4.21. It's almost like Rosetta isn't ending correctly? My problem is not the same, although ... At the moment, on a single PC, I have 12 wcg jobs "running", but 100% finished, 9 of them since yesterday. Why didn't it go through ? Paul ![]() |

Hi Jean,
----------------------------------------Reboot seems to have worked - it uploaded the file w/o further issue. Thanks for your assistance! Cheers, Tornjak Hi Tornjak! I see that you have restarted your network connection. Have you also tried to restart Boinc itself and/or to reboot your system? Cheers. Jean. How do I stop BOINC ? the easies way is to close boinc manager (if it still sits in System Tray - close from there with right mouse click). Then reopen |

Hi vep,
How do I stop BOINC ? The simple, all-purpose way is to reboot. Alternatively, if you are not running BOINC as a service, right-click on the WCG icon and select exit. After it closes, click on BOINC Manager to restart it. Lawrence |

How did you restart BOINC? If you installed as a service, you need to restart it using the Service Manager.
Or reboot - that can be easier. |
