Hi @ all!
I think more poeple would join WCG if it was in different languages! Why don't you program a open system where any user can translate the page online into other languages, like wikipedia! Or at last give the possibility to send a translation of each page to the admin's and they take it online. You could give points for each word or translated page, so more people would translate it! |

Volontaire! Coming in soon, World Community Grid will be available in French. Volunteers who prefer to view the site in French will be able to access a drop-down on each web page that will allow them to choose either English or French. If a volunteer does not choose a language using this method, then World Community Grid will look at the browser's language preference and default to that language. If the default is not a supported language, World Community Grid will default to English. Other languages may be added in 2006. We are starting with a French translation. We will gain experience in multi-lingual support. There are probably many different ways to support multiple languages, but we will see how this method works out first. |

Looking at the country stats there seems to be a HUGE untapped potential in countries like Japan and Korea.
I would make it a priority to get Japanese and Korean versions out. Most people there don't speak English. |

Ha~~~I think it should be translated into Chinese,too. I am one of the members of the translation team of EQUN.com , the biggest distributed computing information website in Chinese. We are tarnslating some page of the WCG website content into Chinese to enable more Chinese users participate in the great project!
