Hi @ all!
why isn't the WCG client an open source project? if it was one, than there would be still exist a mac client and people would optimized the program, programed add ons and other usefull things! |

BOINC stands for Berkeley Open Infrastructure For Network Computing. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/ mycrofth Just to further clarify mycrofth's posting, we have two agents. One is the BOINC client as mycrofth states which is open source. For more information on this, have a look here. The second agent is based on the United Devices client software which we have licenced. This is not open source. Once we have more experience of the Linux BOINC client, we will probably roll out a Windows client. |
