Unable to post job

I have been running BOINC with Rosetta@home with no problems, but recently attached to he World Community Grid project as well. It downloaded jobs and ran them OK, but whenever a job finished it seemed unable to post them back. In theMessages window there are numerous red messages like

04/12/2005 21:08:39|World Community Grid|Unrecoverable error for result de949_33_3 (The system cannot find the path specified. (0x3) - exit code 3 (0x3))

Any idea how to fix this?

Robin

Re: Unable to post job

Hello Robin2,
Error -113 normally means a BOINC version before 5.2.x, when the SSL encryption prorotocol used by our server was added. That is different from what you report, but do you have a pre-SSL version of BOINC running?

Just my first guess,

Re: Unable to post job

Robin2,

There is something odd going on with your computer. You have returned 15 results and all of them were errors with a messages such as:

The system cannot find the path specified. (0x3) - exit code 3 (0x3)

I think something may have gone wrong with your installation. Can you uninstall BOINC, download the latest version (5.2.13) from http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php and install it?

After you have done that can you let us know if it is working now? If not, can you let us know which installation option you choose?

thanks,
Kevin

Re: Unable to post job

Thanks for your reply Kevin. I downloaded the latest version (I only got the previous one a few days earlier from the WCG site) and it now seems to be posting jobs.
