wink Testing smilies in subject line

I notice that some members have inserted smilies inside their subject lines, and I'm testing if I can somehow add a .gif -- and also see if the .gif files in the first line will display on the index page. Perhaps this post will answer the question for me.

Thanks.

Bill --

I think only the smilies that are sponsored by the site may be placed in the subject line.

Yep, that's about what I thought, so I figured to add them on the very first line so that they still show up on the thread-lists which show the first line or so of a post. They work -- e.g., I saw some flags waving -- but the animation stops after what seems like a single cycle. Anyway to fix that?

Thanks.

Bill --

I am not sure why, but the animation stops on all of the sponsored smileys at some point. I don't recall anything in the Suggestions/Feedback forum requesting that be changed and it is likely that if it were accepted, the priority might be so low that our grandkids might live long enough to see the implimentation -- LOL. The project team appears to have a very full plate recently with Linux, project roll-outs, BOINC, soon to come French Language support and more.

Best regards,
