Although that feature is available in the standard version of the forum software we are using, several features had to fall by the wayside when the code was modified so that it could run on multiple severs and I suspect that profile viewing was one of them. Some of the things you are looking for are available through the icons you see at the bottom of people's posts if they allow it (such as websites, e-mail addy, etc.)
