Running Screensaver with no users logged on

I read somewhere today (may have been on the Folding@Home site) that it is possible, with a minor registry tweak, to set Windows XP to run the Screensaver even when no one is logged on to the PC so that it runs all the time when all users have logged off instead of the standard Windowx XP screensaver.

I cannot seem to find it now though. Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me how to do it?

Thanks

Ted

Re: Running Screensaver with no users logged on

There is a method to make sure the agent (the part doing the real work) is running all the time. It really has nothing to do with the screensaver as such. This tweak is not too minor but is reversable. You can find the entire thing HERE

Re: Running Screensaver with no users logged on

Thanks for that - it is a useful resource. But that is not the info that I read earlier. What I read earlier was definately related to the running of the program and the screensaver replacing the standard Windows XP Screensaver. I think it must have been somewhere on the Folding@Home site.

Thanks anyway.
