Linking my UD Stats with WCG Stats

Having just come here from The Grid, is there any way that I can import or join my stats from the UD project to my new WCG account? In addition, is there any way to bring my old team with me?

Thanks

Ted

First of all, welcome! We are glad to see you here. smile

Unfortunately there is not a way for you to bring your statistics with you. sad

As far as a team is concerned, each of the members will have to move and you will have to form (or re-form) a team here.

In other words, basically nothing will transfer other than your experience from using their agent.

On the bright side, you and your team (should they come with you) are likely to be quite happy here as the WCG is well staffed with capable people that have good attitudes.

Unfortunately, there is no way to bring your UD stats with you to World Community Grid. You can start a team here with the same name as your old team, but, like member stats, team stats cannot be transferred over.

You'll just have to crunch double time to build up your stats here! biggrin

Re: Linking my UD Stats with WCG Stats

Hi guys

Thanks for your responses. Very quick indeed!

It's no major problem because my stats from The Grid were only going back 6 months or so, and my newly created team had not actually got any members in it yet anyway! :-) I was just curious to know if I could 'import' it as opposed to re-creating it here.

That said, I've done just that - "F3 - The First Forensic Forum" is my team, and I hope to recruit some members to it from my own non-profit organisation via my website (with any luck)!

Cheers

Ted

Re: Linking my UD Stats with WCG Stats

I think the best you can do is what I have done in my sig. (I only did it to check whether the daily average between UD and WCG would be different, and realistically it isn't!)

I think you'll find that WCG is a more robust setup with no timeouts etc encountered here in the 2 weks I have been here!
