WCG is not sending out any work at this time. They have not given us any info on why. We do not know when they will start sending out work again.

The feeder outage seems to be a recurrent issue during the last couple of weeks :-( Maybe, but the feeder doesn't have an outage at this moment. I've received two ARP1-tasks (they were retries) around 07:30 UTC today. So in fact, the feeder is running, contrary to what you might think when someone posts: "same problem" or "the problem is the same" (in this very "the feeder don't running" thread). Conclusion: the problem is that this is not the same problem.   Adri |

I should have written: "The feeding outage seems to be a recurrent issue during the last couple of weeks" ;-) In the meantime, there is no improvement. My machines are very close (only few hours) to running dry even with a 2 day large buffer. It would be nice that the operation team would wake-up. Cheers, Yves |

Eventually someone will kick the appropriate server(s) and work units will return. But probably not on the weekend. Well, I was out this Sunday morning since 8am (Pacific Time) for a CERT even until 4pm, but it seems that around 10am this morning, WUs started to trickle in again. Small scattered showers, nothing that I would call a consistent flow (yet)...Cheers Ralf |
