Hello!
I'm freshly new to WCG and BOINC as a whole. I've been running it for a few days now, and while my stats are updating inside the program, I haven't seen them show up on the site under "My Contributions" yet. It's all still zeroes. My "Results" tab on site is updating fine, showing the tasks in progress and those that have been completed and validated. |

Welcome to WCG !
The stats under My contributions are only updated once a day (maybe twice a day someone will correct me). You get credit for validated tasks. Sometimes you will complete a task and it will take a few days for the other person (wingman) to complete the task, so you will not get credit until they return their Work Unit (WU) as well. |

 It looks like both my wingman and mine's have validated though. Same story for the several dozen more that list "valid" next to them in my Results tab. |

Welcome to WCG!
----------------------------------------I (and others) have had similar issues when adding a NEW computer to our “farm”. Barring any strange situations, that computer’s work and information WILL show up as expected without any help from WCG staff within about 3 - 5 days after your initial visit, After that things continue to work as expected. Well, I can report that stats are finally showing up now! I got a notice on July 1st congratulating me on completing my first task... even though it now shows I've done 182... heh.
So yeah, I guess it takes about a week for stuff to start showing up here. |

Mine started showing up, but....didn't give me credit for the ones previous to the day it started showing up.
Not good. Guessing nobody can fix this for me. |

Yeah, I noticed that too. Even though it's giving me credit for 13 days of work (which seems a bit long...) and is showing me with a 3 day streak, it's put ALL that work into one day on the graph.

Yes, that seems to be the new normal since it has been taking so long for new machines to show up it the WCG stats.  |

Regarding apparent oddities in work credit...
One effect of the issues at the end of last month when the BOINC database went AWOL for over 24 hours was that a lot of work returned during that period wasn't reported until long after it was uploaded. With no work being validated during the outage, that would leave a hole :-) Another side-effect was that a couple of the WCG statistics runs didn't happen, so work that got reported and validated in the relatively brief period between the successful mid-day stats run before the outage and the outage itself wouldn't show up in WCG statistics. However, any credit earned would [eventually] be visible at places like BOINCstats... Cheers - Al. |
