Hello,
Are there many Beta WUs available or are they quite rare? I have one Linux cruncher but it has not gotten a single Beta to this point. Beta testing is turn on in my settings. Thank you! |

In this release of betas, these are the batches that I have received, as I only run windows, these are all WINDOWS batches. (The times are all UTC as indicated):
16 - 03:53 UTC (oldest: BETA_BETA30_9800002_0018) 6 - 06:55 8 - 06:59 6 - 07:06 6 - 07:11 8 - 07:12 8 - 07:20 (most recent: BETA_BETA30_9800014_0903) ==== 58 TOTAL in 7 groups The BOINC Manager's "Remaining (estimated)" run times are still advancing faster than the elapsed timers. Some faster than others. Based on my various system's configurations, I do not expect any more. But time will tell. |

One of my machines caught five tasks from the earliest batch (9800000), with one of them having this name:
BETA_BETA30_9800000_0000_0 It was practically the very first one. Apart from that, it seems to have brought bad luck. At first, selecting Beta Project to find them in my Results didn't help, but after a (bad) night's sleep they are suddenly there, all five of them. After nine and a half hours of running time, they were still sitting there at a few percent with an estimated running time of 10 or more days(!), so I aborted four of them. The one remaining has now been running for 40 minutes, still at 0.500%. I've got a similar situation with my 4 Betas on my Windows11-System. At the moment they are running for 100 minutes stuck at 0,5% The estimated running time is slowly increasing and reached around 14 days now.

I caught 56 Beta units on two of my Linux systems. Nothing yet on my Windows system.

I received 16 BETA on my Windows 10 System. After 2:30h running, the estimated Time is more than 20 Days now...
