Moving on? Not me, I'm moving on when I'm moving to a 1 room apartment with a lid, instead of a ceiling..

Looks like MCM and ARP WUs are flowing well
MAM beta is not flowing at this moment, but I'll leave it as green as it comes and goes in short bursts. I want to highlight the device profile issue that usually happens after a crash, and hasn't been fixed yet. |

I give up regarding the device profile issue. I've been nagging about that for 3 days now, and also sent two messages via the "contact" page, I'll just let my computer idle, and automatically run "boinccmd.exe --project http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org update" every 30 minutes. Sooner or later they will fix the problem.

I've run dry.
I see a lot of chatter on MAM Beta, so that is going out. MCM is committed to other platforms ARP is rare even when it is flowing. I'm hoping that they will send out more soon since it is a Wednesday, so I'll not be switching to the backup project yet. I've seen more mentions of the device profile error, so yet again I'll mention it. |

I am not convinced that any MAM is going out right now, but I could be wrong.

Regarding the apparent delay of 4 or more hours between the official time of statistics runs and the information appearing in the ARP1 or MCM1 Global Project Statistics pages...
I have a script that picks up generations text files, and it also samples the web page at about 14:20 UTC, so I know when there's a mismatch :-) This issue showed up on return from the recent BOINC database crash, and continues to date. Samples from that log immediately around the crash day (26th was no surprise, because crash!... 2025-04-25 14:20:01 (UTC) -- 202504/middayresults.202504 file updated I've been monitoring this since then (and have [finally] implemented a tracker script); the updated data shows up at least 4 hours after the collection deadline, so I wonder whether the stats run is starting later (or taking a lot longer) or whether the process that updates the web pages is running on local time rather than UTC! The tracker records the sample time and either the new [alleged] statistics update time and one or two rows of result information or a no change notice. Here are samples from the time around the two most recent changes: 2025-04-30 09:40:01 (UTC): No change! (The 2025-0430 16:20 sample was missed during a brief stop to add the second results line if the first one was a pre-midday line -- saves a browser visit to the web site!) Cheers - Al. |

The Device profile issue was finally fixed at around 2025-04-30 18:37:49 UTC+2. Two hours later, I began to slowly receive new MCM tasks. So for now, case is closed.
