Does anyone know if a gt 730 will run opng?
I saw reference to that card in an earlier post that said it runs it but is slow. I can't get my card to run it at all. I have preferences set to run gpu, no luck. I have a 1650 running it just fine so I know the settings have to be correct. There is a list of cards for gpu running but it looks terribly outdated. Thanks for any help. |

I’m running a GT710 - it takes maybe 10 hours per task but it does get there and only adds about 4 watts to the power drain.

Are you using the default gpu settings?
I haven't change my settings on either computer. |

Are you using the default gpu settings? I haven't change my settings on either computer. I have “Do work on GPU when computer is in use” and “Use xxxx graphics card if possible” set to yes. |

I have just upgraded the graphics driver, I didn't realize I was using an older one. I will have to wait and see if that makes a difference. At least now I know the card should be running opng, thanks for your help. |

I have a GT730 and every task fails. The error from the most recent one is:
autogrid4: Successful Completion. INFO:[11:14:57] End AutoGrid... INFO:[11:14:57] Start AutoDock for RDKZ4269875815--1yyp_v1--inertK60.dpf(Job #0)... It is Windows 11 and NVidia driver 474.64 which I think is the latest driver? Is anyone able to advice what the problem might be? Thanks |

I had another workunit fail. The error from the Boinc manager was "31/03/2024 12:08:42 | World Community Grid | Output file OPNG_0225454_00129_0_r2030031496_0 for task OPNG_0225454_00129_0 absent".

I don't think that's relevant as the debug process has already started by then but I'm not sure. Does anyone know if I'm correct that the missing output file is as a result of the issue and not the cause of it? If my Anti Virus was causing an issue it would also affect cpu units? CPU units work OK. |

No idea, but your AV is indeed referenced in the task log. Try whitelisting the BOINC Data directory.
