2023-09-29 Update (Sept 28 work unit shortage)

Yesterday, volunteers reported a shortage of work units. This shortage was due to an error when experimentally attempting to address the server slowness experienced on September 27. The issue has been fixed and work unit supply should be back to normal.

TigerLily, you may want to look into the OPNG tasks. I'm getting a lot of them, but they are all finishing pretty quickly and then being marked as invalid by the server.

I agree with Freewill...

There appears to be the same sort of error in this new target's flex file that caused the problems with that previous set of batches a couple of months ago. Here's the file content, with the suspect data coloured red:

Those highlighted values should probably have a space instead of a 1 -- the scientists would know for sure... The previous bad batches had '219.11' that got corrected to ' 19.11' in the batches that worked :-)

Cheers - Al.
