Re: Is there any way of finding your wingman’s host-Id?

I see you have about 16.8% of the total "pending" in "pending verification." I am running about 2.5% "pending verification" in the total "pending" category. The pending verification numbers had spiked a couple of days ago, but have now come back to more normal level. The "pending validations" have come down but are still higher than normal. If the "5.15.107+" cluster is no longer running, then I expect the "pending validations' to return to a more normal number.

That's indeed a quite high level of Pending Verification, but it's without the "5.15.107+" cluster.
Should I include my total number of Pending tasks, plus a lot of tasks from the "5.15.107+" cluster, then the rates are relatively somewhat different:

1105 "pending" results: Pending Validation 1043, Pending Verification 62

That's about 6% (Pending Verification of my total "pendings").

Currently about 51% of the completed units are "pending validation."

I have now 8358 completed tasks. Pending Validation should be 1043/8358 then, which is about 1/8 or 12.5%.

I'm not seeing any behavior change in the way the system works, honestly. I think it's backwards to issue new work units first instead of finishing repair work and keeping it in the "waiting to be sent" state for weeks/months on end. Surely that ties up storage somewhere, too.

Maybe your Linux machine isn't that reliable?
I just checked (Fri 10/6, 6:40pm PST) and got

    completed 3066
pend Validation 311 (down about 100 from the last time I checked a day or two ago)
    pend. Verification 161 (up 60)

So for me, the whole PV[a,e] jail would be (311+161)/3066 = 15..4%

And that's high for me, specially PVe, which used to be no more than about a dozen in the past... confused

Re: Is there any way of finding your wingman’s host-Id?

Some of my oldest "Waiting to be sent" work units have started going out as of Saturday morning, October 7 (North America time).
