I'm sorry spikey_richie I haven't had time yet for your Cats and Dogs update as I've wasted most of my day on the search for the illusive XBOX360.
----------------------------------------I reserved it with a deposit about 2 months ago so that I could collect mine (I mean the Kids ) on the European Launch Date - the 2nd December. Good old Microsoft have said in many a hyped up "Documentary" that they couldn't afford to mess up the launch of their next generation console and that they had their manufacturing processes and distribution warehouses all ready to meet demand. My local Curry's (A massive electrical store in the UK) had been allocated 2 So it has been like finding a will o' the wisp If they "couldn't afford to mess up the launch of their next generation console" they've done a pretty good job of it. The newspapers are full of stories of us all going XBOX crazy today - if only. The only bit of XBOX360 I've seen today have been sad and lonely extra controllers hanging on display hooks with no new XBOX360's to connect to. What a disappointment Microsoft If anyone has seen or even laid their hands on this great Multimedia PC interacting High Definition 3 Core processing 1TeraFlop graphic crunching device. Please make yourselves known. Then like the chap in the Monty Python sketch "A nod's as good as a wink" we can all chorus "What's it like?" I realise in the great scheme of things this truely is a nit picking and pointless gripe. But it managed to get me narked today - Cheers Bill. Dave ![]() |

Dave I'll do the honours tonight Just need to remember it's 12/2 not 2/12 I ask you, what's all that about. Next it will be Tires, Color and Center ![]() Dave -- Thanks for filling in again. The day was very long. Checked in to hospital at 6:00 AM my time. Surgery from 9:30 until 11:30 (the doctor said it was more complicated than they thought due to equipment problems). Finally was released about 6:30 PM and didn't get back home until about 7:30 (00:30 your time). I won't hear anything until my followup on the 13th (wish it were a Friday -- those are always lucky for me!) and I get to wear a catheter until then . Some pain, but they did prescribe a pain pill -- not sure of the name at the moment, but I think it is Hydrocodone. Think it will be lights out here in a bit -- very tired after a very long day.Again, thanks, |

Wow -- No points for me today! That hasn't happened for a while. Both systems are running Human Proteome Folding work units. My P4 is 35 and a half hours into one at 91% -- good points for tomorrow. My old P3 is 25 hours at about 25% -- that might finish for the stats on the 5th, but more likely on the 6th. Of course, all bets are off if the software decides they are non-convergent. Time will tell. I guess I can say at least my systems are running at 100% even if I'm not -- LOL

Unless of course you are nl59056, CompuDude, Ploetner, Wilsondr, MLCBA, Webnx.com, cyberwire, jasnyder or Buckshot Then it slows down when you get in the top 50 ![]() i can tell you that it gets pretty darn slow when you get almost to the top 50. that's a tough group to join. just two more to go (although by then it will probably be 3 more since stefan is screaming up behind me.) ![]() i wonder how many of the top 100 are mot? ![]() In Memory of Dave Bell |
