Account id number !?

Hi !

I'm an old BOINC user but this is the first time I've attached to this project
and it is a little bit different than the others as it runs on it's own manager and not on the same as the other.

How ever that is not the problem.

The problem is that I can't find the Account-id number.

And don't confuse that with the Account Key because that one I did find out, with a little twist.

But what I need is the account id that normally on all other projects are in your stats-page. Like for SETI I have 5204

This is for the signature pictures mainly.

Any clue how I can find it ? crying

Click on My Grid - My Profile after you have signed in. All the numbers are there.

No, I this is the only thing that I can find under my profile.

Perhaps it updates when I have returned one complete WU ?

I have a WU that is 10% finished now.

I don't know how to make it "update" as you normally can do in BOINC ?

Crystallize,

A couple of notes:

1) You are using the UD devices agent not the BOINC agent. These are two seperate types of grid software.

2) Can you please use the 'Contact Us ' feature to send me details about the 'twist' you did in order to find out your account key? Your account was only partially created and I need to understand what you did so that we can fix it.

3) Ignore the email you just got about your account key - I was testing something.

Also - you can now go ot the page that Mycroft referred you to. It will have all of the information now.

Thanks - believe it or not you did help me find the problem (mostly because you saw the same screen after I told you to go look again which shouldn't have happened).

This impacted 14 users - they have all been fixed.

Ok, thanks. I think I got my account id now.
I also have gotten credit now. biggrin

Unfortunatly it didn't help anyway as I was going to use it to add this project to my signature
picture (the one below) but for some reason I get this error on the mundayweb page:

Could not find your account ID in the XML stats... using HTML stats instead.

The following errors occured:

Could not connect to WCG server, please try again. (Hit refresh)

I'm not sure if it is a error on this projects part or if it is a error on mundaywebs part.

I'll write to them and ask also.. sad

Does someone know where you can check if your account is turning up in those, XML stats ?

Niel Munday didn't know why I couldn't create a signature.
He said it should work if I had gotten credit and I have, over 24 hours ago already.

Hm, could I connect to the WCG with the normal Windows BOINC client using the account key and the http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org as project URL ?
