Bram Moolenaar, the author of the VIM editor, passed away on 3 August 2023.
----------------------------------------Bram dedicated a large part of his life to Vim, the 'successor' of the UNIX editor 'vi', hence its name Vi Improved. According to the Vim maillist, Bram was suffering from a medical condition that progressed quickly over the last few weeks. RIP Bram and thank you for all your dedication to VIM.
