I've stopped receiving WUs for GPUs waiting for them to fix them. My GPUs will be doing something else than processing wrong WUs. Agree. Thousands of invalids processed on just a couple of my PCs. It's like the researchers don't even have a PC testing what they put out for us. I'm done with this circus after all the issues since Krembil took over. Good luck to those with more patience. |

Ah so, sadly, it's not just me that is suffering a plague of invalids. While the project scientists doing a bit of screening before sending out a batch that is not always fool proof as problems may exist in part of a batch and be missed. But as soon as it becomes apparent that a lot of tasks within a batch are failing with errors or being invalid then distribution of that batch should be suspended until such time as a proper investigation has been undertaken and the root-cause found and eliminated.

Maybe when they get back from vacation. ![]() Sadly, I'd be tempted to think that IT IS actually the case... ![]() ![]() |

Looks like they're aware of the issue and have stopped sending out the broken WUs in the meantime: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/about_us/article.s?articleId=799

I noticed the "invalid" and "too late" are dated with a 7-30 return date. I have a few with a return date of 8-2 that were "valid".
The valid ones were run on cpu, the others were run on gpu. Just an observation. |

Was anyone watching their GPU usage when running OPNG tasks?
----------------------------------------I happen to see them running so quick and throwing all thse Invalids so I fired up GPU-Z and I don't believe I saw the GPU used much if any during these problematic WUs. And this was running 10 concurrent lol. So these OPNG WUs weren't done right...period. Someone missed a checkbox or something! lol. |

All jobs in every task in any recently released workunit display this error:

all of my OPNG tasks on both PC are finishing quickly and then being marked Invalid. They have a general problem with this new batch. Probably will be fixed in a week or two. Sigh.
