It would make some sense to me if the staff or the techs actually ran some of these units as soon as they were issued. Then they could have determined there is a problem and halted the distribution even before any of the volunteers got any of the units. Strictly a quality assurance issue.

As soon as the scientists are able to deliver reliable batches to be run by the volunteers, shouldn't we rely on the scientists to upload more batches at any given time? Isn't it true that the scientists want their work/batches/tasks to be run by the volunteers? So isn't it the responsibility of the scientists to check if their workunits can be run by the volunteers?Adri |
