Hitting the Retry button doesn't help. Karen It does if you hit it enough times. Thats not a fix... with an autoclicker it is. |

It's a crutch at best, that in most cases, specially in the latest variations of download errors which crap out in the middle of a download or after downloading past the indicated file size. In that case, just as others already mentioned, you are just creating huge additional stress on an already fragile system... Ralf |

you are just creating huge additional stress on an already fragile system (+)Better enable work fetch for another project, which is currently not getting more computing ressources than it's servers can feed. That's what I always do when I see project servers struggling with the load.  |

Right now work fetch for me shows no workunits available for MCM or SCC or OPN. I know OPN is expected to run out, but there has been no word on the other two projects. Feeeder problems perhaps ???

I do get the odd SCC singleton, but they are all created on April 30th, and sent out now, but no MCM or OPNG. OPN1 is probably empty anyhow.

SCC come it at times in spurts, some amount of MCM1 (though I have deselected that project recently), some odd OPN1 and some of my 5 GPU hosts get a decent amount of OPNG (one hasn't gotten any for several days by now)...Bigger problem is that no validation of any work happens. I'm piling up "pending validation" like I have seldom seen, other than when the validators went on a strike. Not even singletons validate now. My Result list has over the day (during the website/forum outage) reduced by about 40%, have been out of the office most of the day, so I haven't been able to check what has validated and what not....
