I recently return to join WCG and I notice that none of my results returned are computed on "my contributions" page. Not even my devices are listed on "device" page.
Are there still any bugs with these pages? |

It's a shame that apparently it's such an old problem that they haven't given a solution until today.
I know it doesn't make much difference, but it makes me wonder if I'm really going to contribute to the project again. |

Same problem on the website, though the client here seems to be normal. The website says no points and no team, but the client says over 4.2 million points and the usual team name. I'm guessing the Forum somehow knows about the points since my status here is "Cruncher", which doesn't seem to match zero points.
Actually stopped by today seeking information about the current outage. Hain't found nuttin' yet, but not surprised. WCG was rather poorly managed when I was here years ago, but the project where I earned over 12 million points went to pieces after another project I liked had shut down, so I wound up back here, not long before the move to the new place. Seems like they brought along all of the old problems and added some new ones, too. Just to rehash the oldest and most annoying problem, the MCM projects still fail quite often on one of my machines, a Macbook Pro. Some of them will run to completion, but many just stay stalled at 0% until they time out after a few days. I routinely nuke those projects before they can start on that machine... Wastes a lot of bandwidth since MCM has big data objects. (But that reminds me of the retry problems that have been so recurrent lately.) Maybe the goal is to make us miss the old management? |

I'm afraid that the number of points that you've earned and your status (or Member Title) here on the forum don't relate, they have no relationship.  Your Member Title is defined here: "What do the Member Titles, underneath the Member Name, in the forums mean?" Thanks for stopping by. We are all in the dark about the current lack of workunits. It's just a forum internal thing, not related to any real work being done.Maybe the goal is to make us miss the old management? If you mean the way how responsive the team under IBM was? Most definitely miss those "good ol' days"...  Ralf  |
