OPNG workunits “The scientists are analyzing the available data to choose a set of protein conformations for the next rounds of molecular docking in GPUs. The focus is on PLPro, one of the SARS-CoV-2 proteases. The dockings will include covalent and non-covalent compounds.” I want you to consider the Apple Silicon Mac just a little bit. Because Apple Silicon Macs can't connect AMD, nVidia, and Intel GPUs, so you can't contribute even if you increase these GPU versions. If possible, I want the Apple Silicon native version of WU. At best, you would get a native M1 CPU app. Apple M1 GPUs stopped supporting OpenCL so you can forget about a GPU app. OK, I understand. World Community Gird NOT NEED Macintosh powers. World Community Gird ONLY NEED x64 powers. I go to Einstein@Home, Good-bye World Community Grid. No, you don't understand, but whatever, I don't care. As you say, there’s a million miles between “Apple don’t support the code WCG need” and “WCG don’t need Macintosh powers”. |

Missing devices in Contributions page The fact that only some devices do not show up as a result of this process and remain “hidden” is what we must understand before we can fully resolve the issue. For now, re-running the batch update procedure regularly will help to recover visibility of most devices newly added to WCG. We highly encourage those having this issue to send an email to support@worldcommunitygrid.org with screenshots and extra details you can provide. If you have any comments or questions, please leave them in this thread for us to answer. Thank you for your support, patience and understanding. WCG team at Krembil Research Institute Hi Cyclops, I am still missing the device I added Dec 1. I sent an email to support over one week ago, but have not received any reply. Can you help resolve this? BR. Hi shauge, in our most recent update, we explain we are having a weird issue with our emailing system that is causing responses we write to not be delivered to their recipient. We are working on that issue. As for your device, we think we improved the system to allow for devices to be registered faster. if you have been having this issue for this long, then I can ask the tech team if there is a specific issue with your device. Hi Cyclops, I got my new device in the list of devices now, thanks for the help with that. Sorry for bringing up such a small thing while project had other problems. I hope you figure will out what cause devices not always being properly added. BR. shauge ![]() |

My device (added Nov 29) has finally shown up.
"Devices" show a full (?- shows every day but I have no detailed records of tasks) list of results going back to that date. However, everything else only shows info from Dec 20>23. Progress! Thanks Richard |

Hello.
----------------------------------------Anyone still checking for the new device updates? Have one new device been crunching prior to Dec 20th, but still not showing up, and summitted a support request last week. It is visible in the results section showing WUs sent, processed, and validated. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by AlmightyMoe at Jan 1, 2023 8:20:05 PM] |

Gib@ ![]() It took a month for me. 21+ days since I emailed support. Showed up only today. However I got historical stats showing since Dec 24th! So only missing a few days. I'll take it. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by AlmightyMoe at Jan 21, 2023 10:48:05 AM] |

@Cyclops:
Any news about when we can expect new OPNG tasks? It's nearly two months since your first post in this thread, and nothing since then about when they will release new OPNG targets. |

Hi Grumpy Swede, not yet, we are still waiting for an indication from the OPN team that they are ready to release a new generation of WUs. |
