I also have a Win 7 system, running both MCM and OPN, without any problems.

Windows 7 is no longer supported. If this is your primary system it should be replaced for security reasons.

I should have said Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft.

If the machine is only being used for WCG then there is no need to upgrade the operating system.
