Hi all the issue i have with bionic is, i recently got a new laptop and decided to do some WCG on it in the off hours. However everything that it does isnt showing up in my contributions, my laptop it self isnt even showing up under devices. yet when i go to results page i can see all the results that my laptop has processed. I have tried reinstalling boinc but nothing has worked so far.
any ideas? |

Check the News forum. I believe this is a known issue that hasn't been fully resolved. IBM transferred WCG to Krembil Research Institute, and the migration has taken most of 2022 and still isn't done. I don't think there's legitimate full-time employees dedicated to WCG, to be perfectly honest.

This is indeed a known issue and listed on our Comprehensive Issue List along with all of our other known issues. Once it has been resolved, we will edit the thread to say it, so keep an eye on it if you still have this issue in the future. |

So it is now six months later and I have the same thing happening with my new computer. my contributions are not showing up and neither is the device.

I'm having similar problems, but as long as it does show up in results panel, I'm fine with that, except WCG is constantly mailing me for not returning any results and make me confused.

Hi iraxishen, I would suggest ignoring the email, since multiple users have reported getting the emails despite returning results regularly so we think there is an issue with the mailing list. |

Are you sure the account you have attached on your BOINC client is the same that you are posting from? I'm having similar problems, but as long as it does show up in results panel, I'm fine with that, except WCG is constantly mailing me for not returning any results and make me confused. Is this the same email they send out telling members their account will be deleted for inactivity? If so then that policy should be thrown in the trash can. How can dead members possibly return WUs? Pretty crappy policy to delete an Inactive user because they're dead... especially if they've died from one of the many diseases they have donated crunching power to help fight! |

A quick Me Too here - new more powerful home workstation added a few weeks ago; results are visible, but the device is not.
