A possible problem provision: Uninstall and reinstall the Boinc Manager on affected device. So I was lucky now all 3 android devices are displayed. I will let the old tasks finish on my PC and then reinstall Boinc. I think it is because at the time I installed the devices, there were problems with the website. My Android devices are now all available ! ![]() Is this just because the default display is devices installed within the past 14 days plus devices with results within the past 30 days? Try changing either of these defaults to all devices and see if that works. |

I uninstalled and reinstalled BOINC twice - didn't help. I changed the filter on the Device management page to show All devices - didn't help either. I even removed the BOINC folder in ProgramData and in the %APPDATA% folder, reinstalled BOINC and added the project again - no avail. How can I register my device that is crunching tasks but isn't displayed in the WCG Device Manager?

There are some issues remaining, some around new devices not showing in manager or stats, see also latest update.
----------------------------------------New devices should get default profile so can be managed. Paul.

Thanks for so quick a response. Does that mean that those issues are being resolved/investigated? Another question, where should I see the latest update? Is it in this thread, in the Forum in general, or somewhere else?

I am suspending any more pulls as not being able to see my new devices is critical to potential deployments to other machines.

Thansk, for the repost. I had read it but was looking for something more instructional that would let me sync up my numbers. I had been "off line "for a while but wanted to pull my numbers together and so that I can deploy to the other compute nodes rebuild and revive my team.
Although I suspend my datapulle ( temporary ) I added the science-united to test. q I was happy to see that when I drilled down to the project goup data for WCG, I am showing active and the data is being reported for those projects. Hopefully the problem will get resolved and I can figure out how best the participate in multiple projects and begin recruiting for my team . I have about 25 machines that I am looking to deploy too but I have to have a firm grasp of how things work these days with the migration. I initially started with Seti many moons ago and want to keep using my excess compute power for good purposes. Good luck Computron |

Bruce,
Thank you for your suggestion of set default to enable the GPU. After several days the linux box in question was recognised, finally. I was then able to change from default to work. Thanks again |
