In which way "not accurate"? Maybe I have misunderstood the first amounts showing (Sep 29)... If they are showing the amount crunched on that day then they may be accurate (although it seems lot to be crunched in one day for me). If the amount shown is a accumulation of when the testing started (some time back in August) then it's way off (I have crunched more than shown). I'm starting to suspect that there will be no credit for anything crunched before Sep 29 (I was under the impression that it would be). Thanks, CJSL |

No, the data from the first test WUs (back in June!) until September 27s is not showing up yet, that would be for me an additional 5 years of runtime, which would be surely noticeable for me. If this data is going to show up at some point, well, that is still a matter of contention. Ralf |

Good news, WCG starts are showing up again today. Waiting for them to backfill and correct missed data now. Yeap, it's starting to show but unfortunately it's not accurate. It does seem to be a step in the right direction.CJSL For now, it seems to add the stats from the internal stats run twice a day, from the current results. The have not been any stats been added for the time from June to 9/27... Ralf Total credit isn't even right WCG Points: 151,981,271 BOINC Credit: 21,711,653 Free-DC Credit: 24,306,572 I done 2,517,592 in the past month so no credit since IBM. It's being stored somewhere as Free-DC is getting credit updates. I'd be in favor if the entire IBM setup scrapped and WCG use the standard BOINC server webpage/forum setup. Anywhere else I can update a client and its at the top of computer list. But not WCG. [Edit 1 times, last edit by mmonnin at Sep 30, 2022 11:51:06 PM] |

Total credit isn't even right Not quite understand what exactly you are trying to say.WCG Points: 151,981,271 BOINC Credit: 21,711,653 Free-DC Credit: 24,306,572 I done 2,517,592 in the past month so no credit since IBM. It's being stored somewhere as Free-DC is getting credit updates. For one, for ages, before the days of BOINC, WCG has internally it's own credit system, which means that WCG points are 7x BOINC points. As for the differences between Free-DC and what you refer to as "BOINC Credit", no idea... I'd be in favor if the entire IBM setup scrapped and WCG use the standard BOINC server webpage/forum setup. Probably not that easy, as I am not aware of any other DC project that has sub project as WCG does.Anywhere else I can update a client and its at the top of computer list. But not WCG. Again, I don't understand what you are trying to say here...Ralf |

OK, so today's email from WCG pretty much explains all my doubts. If I understood correctly, they're going to try to credit (working backwards from Sep 29th) the WUs that were crunched during the transition and testing periods. Seems fair to me.

I doubt that they "exported" to any site Not so much exported, but made available, just as it says here: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/trac/wiki/XmlStats Ralf Both BOINCstats and FreeDC only update the totals, FreeDC also let you see your subproject scores, and nothing shows for MCM, OPN, ARP, SCC or Beta testing since February... |

Local project stats didn't get processed at all until early last week, and then also only for currently returned WUs, nothing retro-actively as of yet, as mentioned many times on the forum by now. So there isn't anything that Free-DC could have possibly picked up, though they should likely be able to pick up now the new daily per project stats. Though this seems to be now also out of whack again since the whole system took a dump starting on Friday.... Ralf |

Let's see what happens. For now, I am more concerned that they keep the system up and running in the first place and we don't have major download and/or website/forum issues on a weekly basis... CJSL There have been a lot of promises been made in recent months, so for me seeing is believing... Ralf |
