I am still missing credit for workunits run during the early phase of restart. When will these be credited? Paul. Hi Paul, we have received similar reports from other users so we are looking into it. Once it has been solved we will post an update. Sorry for the confusion. I see many WU's validated, but the BIONIC Stats page for WCG shows no progress since May 4 (ARP, SCC MCM projects) Richard Give us a clue. What is a "BIONIC Stats page"? Where can we find it?  |

Probably at the same location where UHN/Krembil themselves says the following about WCG, and they can't be bothered to correct it either it seems.From this page: http://www.uhnresearch.ca/news/join-world-community-grid Excerpt: "To contribute to this initiative, simply download and install the BIONIC app on your desktop or mobile devices and choose the projects you want to support...." And also further down that page, it's still very BIONIC: "Contributing to the World Community Grid will not waste your mobile data, because the BIONIC app only downloads jobs and uploads results while your device is connected to Wi-Fi..." Choosing the device profile option "If there is no work available for the project(s) I have selected above, please send me work from another project" does not appear to work. I have left that option selected and get no work when the only project with work is MCM - my computers ran dry. When I specifically choose MCM I get work.

In BIONIC Manage, the "Stats" tab... I have 3 projects, the other two are updated continually. WCG is not, even though it is running multiple tasks. Richard |

----------------------------------------Just a helpful note. It is not BIONIC, it is BOINC which is an acronym for Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing. Krembil has it misspelled on their website also as noted by Grumpy Swede. Cheers

stats might be messed up because validation is wonky right now. ARP is way behind in checking validation after both (or more) results are returned.
My SCC WUs had been behind on validating too, but seem to have caught up today. MCM seems fine. |

My SCC WUs had been behind on validating too, but seem to have caught up today. MCM seems fine. Might be the case... I have 5000+ points that are validated going back to May 8. Another 6600 waiting for validation.. (MCM, SCC, ARP) I am displaying 3 projects on the Stats tab in BOINC. The WCG line looks quite flat since May 4. Looking only at WCG I see a slight increase, but it is distorted as my points doubled in 10 days previously. (700K to 1700k). Richard |

A few days ago I noticed that the search function in the Help pages works again.

So, Tigerlily, any news on the new badges which were coming soon in September last year?

So, Tigerlily, any news on the new badges which were coming soon in September last year? For a while it seemed the solution was not to hand out any more MCM workunits. Glad that's solved, now on to those badges, please! |
