Hey Cyclops,
----------------------------------------In case you didn't know, the IMB techs were willing to live with a certain percentage of WUs having errors. They said there was a point of diminishing returns in testing. If you are looking for perfection then this testing phase may indeed be endless. |

I'm not sure why people are removing (or threatening to remove) the WCG option. we've been down since February. it's August. |

DENIS@home is nice little project to crunch for. They just came back up July 7th with plenty of work and a very responsive admin both in regards to the technical side and about the actual work being done.
No GPU work, but if you have Einstein or Milkyway, you're already set. https://denis.usj.es/denisathome/ |

Hey Cyclops, Well, the problem is that it isn't obvious WHAT exactly they are testing. At this point, I would be still under the impression that they are working on getting the actual workflow for each sub project going, rather than chasing bugs within the WUs. The later shouldn't be anything that the transition from IBM to Krembil should have influenced. Unless the whole thing is totally borked....In case you didn't know, the IMB techs were willing to live with a certain percentage of WUs having errors. They said there was a point of diminishing returns in testing. If you are looking for perfection then this testing phase may indeed be endless. Ralf |

If you dig back a little, you will see that they upgraded to all new versions of the software. And things don't work quite the same way with the new software as the old software... and often times that this is something that doesn't get realized until trying to make stuff run with the new software...

WCG doesn't have any issues with it |
