BONIC screen saver presentation question

With the BOINC screen saver, the presentation is not consistent with the WCG.

I am attempting to have each process presented with a short description and a horizontal bar graph showing progression. This usually occurs in groups of a maximum of four (4) tasks on the screen.

But, there seems to be a confusion in the software as to how to handle the display on the computer with the i7 processor. By default, the screen saver presents the status of a single process on these computers. Then at some point will change the display to what I wanted in the first place (an alternating group of four.

I have mimicked the settings that I use for the WCG agent since that agent (WCG) displays the status as I expect.

WCG computer:
"About World Community Grid - BOINC Manager: Ver 7.2.47 (x86)"
Intel Pentium CPU 2020M @ 2.4GHz 2.4GHz
installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit Operating system, x64-based processor
Win: 10 Home Ver 211H1

BOINC computer:
"About BOINC Manger: Version 7.16.20 (x64)"
Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.4GHz 3.4 GHz
installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.9 usable)
System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64 based
Win: 10 Home Ver 21H1

I seem to recall that I had attempted to get a newer client version but, the system said I had the current version.

Any ideas?

Re: BONIC screen saver presentation question

You can download the latest BOINC version from this link: https://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php

I don't use the screensaver so I can't help you.But AFAIK, you can't set the screensaver to be fixed at any of the displayed stages.

Re: BONIC screen saver presentation question

I downloaded to the current versions and the screen saver works as desired.

Thanks for that link.
