Ok, new question for you folks.
Where do you belong in the BOINC Wiki? My GUESS is that you are an active, and production project, but, are not specifically BOINC. But I hate to guess. So, can I have information? There is a BOINC Client for Linux, and it seems appropriate to add you folks to the information in the Wiki, but I am not sure where you would go. Also, I am not sure if you would like to have access to the Wiki to edit those sections where we document the projects. Best avenue for me is e-mail ... p.d.buck@comcast.net Note, editing of the Wiki is by invitation only, we don't generally allow non-project people access ... this is to limit chances of pranks ... |

Hey Paul,
I was the one who sent you an email about this project ![]() Well this project is as you say active and in production. The project currently only has a boinc Linux client available but they're considering on releasing a windows variant too. But for windows machines they currently use the UD client (see www.grid.org). The boinc pages are currently pretty good implemented into this page so there's not a specific boinc page like all other projects have. The project is funded by IBM and is forming a grid itself. I mean they will run several projects next to eachother. Currently the only project running is Human Proteome Folding but that's running to it's end. A new project that seeks a cure for HIV/AIDS will be released soon and i guess there will be a human proteomo folding 2 project. Take a look here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/projects_showcase/viewHpfResearch.do And you can see what the Human Proteome Folding project is about. Greetings |

This thread is more appropriate for the Linux Support forum. Thanks.
