@Sgt. Joe, thanks for confirming what I'm seeing. My Windows machines are i5-3330 and i5-650. My Linux machines are i5-4590 and i7-2600. All stock speeds. I've noticed higher temps since switching to MCM work. Glad to hear my setup is running normally. I may move the Linux machines to OPDN so they can return results quicker.

I run a Ryzen 5960 X on Windows and my tasks run for just over 1.5 hours. Currently running 23 at a time. On a side note averaging 12 days of runtime every 24 hours or 13 or 14 hours in my case because I turn my machine at night

Things are back to normal for me on Win10. MCM is running at 1:33, but that is using only 11 cores on my Ryzen 3600. If I were to run on all 12 cores, it would be about 1:45.
This is one of the few projects that does as well on Windows as Linux. |

MCM workunits usually take about 45 to 50 minutes to complete on my system. And I normally run about 10 of them at one time. My AMD Ryzen 9 5950x 16-core CPU works great!

My AMD Ryzen 9 5950x 16-core CPU works great! Thanks. I am looking into one for cooler weather. I was wondering whether it was worth the upgrade for one or two of my older machines. I need something to do in the winter. You never know what the next Covid version will be. |
