OR limit MIPs to 8 in your profile and let the rest go. (no ARP)" I have been running this project on a dedicated computer and it averages 0 to 4 errors a day. In the last week or so there has been about 2 to 3 errors a day and occasionally none. I can live with this loss considering the more production that is put out with 16 threads vs 8. dondee |

Hello all,
I will try this again, my first reply seemed to go off to wherever it is things go to when they disappear on the internet. I have viewed the properties of several wus and some have checkpoints and some do not. This is why some of the wus are restarted when the computer is rebooted/started up. The wus that have checkpoints don’t have a rhythm as to when the checkpoints are made. So even with a checkpoint there could still be a sizable loss of time when a reboot/start up happens. I gather this is not a boinc problem and am also surprised this wasn’t chased out to the mips section. Thanks for all the replies and help to further expanding my limited knowledge of boinc. dondee |
