OpenPandemics GPU Beta Test - March 5 2021

Good afternoon,

We have started a new beta test for OpenPandemics on GPU. This version is 7.26, this application has a few notable changes. It will add Si (Silicon) to the list atom types allowed by the GPU version. It also increases the error logging around processing of a ligand to help debug errors easier.

To start as some may have noticed, running only on intel GPU to begin with. This was to help get debug information and stats specific for Intel GPU work units. Intel GPU appears to be causing more issues compared to AMD and Nvidia and will continue to explore solutions to the problems members are reporting.

We will be increasing the total work units to run on AMD and Nvidia soon. This beta test will have over 100 batches to send out and populate the results for. These will be combined CPU work units to have their average runtime be closer to 5-10 minutes total.

If you have any issues, please post them here: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,43231

Thanks,
