Greetings,

We are about to start a new beta test for Open Pandemics. This will again be for all 3 OS on all 3 types of GPU. The major changes for this beta test are:

1. The researchers identified 2 locations in the code where single precision wasn't implicitly defined.
2. Some compile warnings about type conversions were fixed.
3. We are going to be using production work units for this beta test. This means they have been created automatically by the researchers, downloaded by World Community Grid and then Built by World Community Grid to prove the automation part will work out of the gate.
4. Validation had a bug that has been corrected to catch results sent back by cards with computational errors.

This beta test will have 25,385 work units. These are running a bit longer on my test machines in alpha.
