Hi,
----------------------------------------I've just joined two days ago to support the OpenPandemics project, and I've dedicated an old 8-core laptop to run 24/7. I've just checked my stats, and it says I have contributed two YEARS of run time. No matter how you slice it, running eight tasks in parallel for a few days does not even amount to one month. I don't think that this could be a bug, given how established BOINC is. So I'm curious, are run times multiplied by some factor to incentivize people to support COVID-19 research? Ah, I guess the labeling is missing a ":ms" at the end:
Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s) 0:002:01:54:42 should probably be Total Run Time (y:d:h:m:s:ms) 0:002:01:54:42 |

No, everything is alright.
Your stats say 2 days, 1 hour, 54 minutes, 42 seconds Please note that only those tasks that have been validated count towards this statistic. There are probably some more tasks pending and waiting for validation by another user. |

No question is stupid, only inappropriate answer can be stupid ! You might wanna check out Quora (https://www.quora.com/), they are proof that there are in fact stupid questions, they even pay people to post those... Ralf ![]() |
