Re: OPN on 64bit ARM?

since yesterday all of my 15x C4s running OPN.

This is only possible by using arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf.
Question:
Does that means it run 32bit app on 64bit machine?
Because 64bit apps should use aarch64 or not ?
thanks

Re: OPN on 64bit ARM?

anyway, i activated beta testing.
so 60 arm64 cores are ready to do beta testing.
Hopefully other projects will support it soon.
Right now they crunch only Rosetta and OPN.

OPN for ARM Linux is only available as a 32-bit executable.

Re: OPN on 64bit ARM?

OPN for ARM Linux is only available as a 32-bit executable.
At CPDN, many tasks have failed because 64-bit Linux hosts haven't got the required 32-bit libraries installed. Have we checked that a similar problem won't occur here?

I think strombergFs is running the tasks with no problems but was wondering why the tasks were running in 32-bit mode instead of 64-bit.

Unless I misunderstood something.

Re: OPN on 64bit ARM?

exactly, OPN works just fine, but as 32bit app.
My question is if there will be support for 64bit linux on arm in the future, like Rosetta does.
But this question i also have for the other WCG projects which sadly until now do not support linux on arm at all.
Any idea if this is planned for the future ?
